Telemark

“I think I can swim out of it” has been the Call for Telemark Region in Norway.

With extremely high water levels producing some of the biggest burliest rapids we have ever seen it has set a good pace for the rest of the trip and the rest of the year.

I know i said I love Italy but it has allot of competition against Norway, with epic rapids, free hot chocolate, free camping, amazing views and absolutely stunning woman, I would have to say Norway wins.

The trip started in Amsterdam for me, where I picked up the car and drove up to Hamburg Germany to hang out with Nils at his sweet pad in the city, he also made some of the sweetest roof racks for our brand new Euro Lease Renault Kangoo I would like to say big “UP’s” Nils for the help.

I then drove up across Germany over to Copenhagen in Denmark and up into Sweden until I finally meet Josh in Oslo airport in Norway. We had to pick up some new Sweet Helmets for Josh from Sam Hughs aka Pacman house in Oslo, he was kind enough to let us stay at his house for the night which was awesome.

The next day we drove to the Telemark Region which is about 3 hours west of Oslo it is a beautiful place and we were in the North end of lake Tigsno where 4 of the sweetest rivers ever flow into the lake.

I had been studying the Guide Book for many months, and the run I most wanted to do was Project 2000.

All the rivers in Telemark were super high, and we were keen, Josh and I decided to fire up Home Run at a ridiculous flow knowing it was likely to result in one of us having a swim.

Sure enough Josh had a swim I escaped luckily but watched an epic spanking.
